To Support Jenny Mosley’s Golden Model

The benefits

We cannot ‘teach’ children moral values, they have to experience them. All the games and exercises that are recommended by Quality Circle Time are designed to build up a sense of class community.

Once these safe boundaries are established, children can engage in activities specifically chosen to promote the values upheld by our set of moral values; The Golden Rules.

Having clear boundaries helps create a safe space in which children can learn and grow.

Time and energy are saved by teachers when they have a clear system in place, rather than having to devise their own method which may or may not be consistent with whole-school policies.

If teachers are happier, they will be less likely to leave their job.

Children will feel ‘safer’ and happier, which will free them up for learning and contributing in a more positive way.
